I liked it, it was ok, there were a few errors but it was too bad, I have read alot worst. I actually read the carter kids series before starting this and liked that alot more, the story seems similar, well more the characters seem similar, which is fine just sometimes it would be nice to have something totally different, something that would catch the reader off guard. hopefully Lee's character changes a bit more, moves away from the whole shy gal, because it seems like she's slowly and I mean slowly moving that way. I do like the characters though, Kyle brother could have been mentioned a little bit more along with cams friends, they always had parties but never heard anything about them, funny things always happen at parties. overall story was ok just seemed liked finding out about who Lee was and kyle dramas, took too long and their feelings about their pasts seem to be repeated alot, I no in the real world we all seem to think about things alot and all the time til we figure it out or get over it but I personally have to be in a kind of mood to actually Want to read it over and over again. now I think I'm going on and on and on lol so yeah it was ok I will more the likely read the rest of the series

I'm so glad I found this author. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down!!! Oh my goodness!!!.What an amazing story about two people that have been through so much and are trying to be there for each other. Lee is such a sweet person and has been through so much and Kyle means well but, he keeps hurting her. The sexual tension between these two in the beginning was off the charts!!! I love Cam and Derek they would make me laugh just at the right time in the book when I would tear up reading about what happen to Lee. I can't wait to find out what happens next for Lee and Kyle. Great job Chloe!
This story was actually quite good but there were certain things that threw it off. For starters, Lee was too weak for me. She let Kyle run over her entirely too much. It was just frustrating to read because she pi**ed me off. Gave three stars because I was able to finish.
I wanted to enjoy this book so much more than I did. It seemed overly repetitive. It was hard to decipher who was speaking. The two main characters were beyond immature. They both kept secrets from one another, that might have saved them a lot of heartache and us from reading a good 50 pages of this book. There was too much wishy-washy with feelings. One minute they couldn't live without one another and the next they were at each others throat. The story-line had great potential, but fell way short of where this book should've been by the end of book number one.

The story is good and I have a feeling it's gonna get better. Lee had been sheltered among other things by her father in Louisiana and she wants more. To do more. Be more and discover more. But I don't think she planned to discover Kyle but I'm so glad she did. He drives me crazy and I want to junk punch him a lot of the time but I know he is good and food for her. Although he screws up many many times and lee doesn't deserve that he always comes back and now he's really gotten into a mess and I can't wait to see what happens next. So into the next book.
Ok first off know that this ends in a major cliffhanger! It is my biggest pet peeve. ooookkkkk i just saw that all 4 books in the series is about this couple.

So the chemistry between these two was written so beautifully. i really loved that part of it.
But it was a little too high school drama for me. While I will definitely read this one again, i didnt love it enough to want to go through 3 more books of drama. I'll make up my own ending and be satisfied with that.
What a heartbreakingly beautiful story!

Break My Fall is about Lee who has escaped from her home in Montgomery and showed up at her best friend Cam's doorstep asking for a place to stay. She didn't realize that Cam lived with her boyfriend Derek, and his best friend Kyle. Things heat up the first time that Lee sees Kyle and their introduction is a little unorthodox.

The chemistry between Lee and Kyle is off the charts, but both of them are so hot and cold towards one another. Since this book is told in both Kyle and Lee's points of view we do get some insight into why each of them are the way they are. My heart hurts for what Lee has gone through in her life, and for what she goes through with Kyle. Kyle tries to do the right thing, but with the cards he has been dealt, he ends up screwing up and hurting the people he actually cares about.

Cam is definitely an amazing friend to Lee. Granted she pushes Lee outside of her comfort zone a lot, but ends up showing Lee all the things she's missed out on. I love the unconventional friendship that her and Cam have, and how Derek has become a good friend to her as well. Her best friend in the house is Kyle, but those lines get blurred a lot between the two of them.

There were parts during this book that I thought I had Kyle figured out and why he was with Rachel and let her do and say the things she did, but I never fully put everything together until Kyle explains it all towards the end of this book. Rachel is one character that I despise and I truly want nothing but bad things to come to her. The way she treated everyone in this book was horrific, yet she is the perfect villain. Ugh I hate her!

I loved the parts of this book where Kyle and Lee were happy, but the parts where they hated each other, were not speaking were hard. I wanted these two to have their happily ever after, and after this book ended, I'm not sure how things are going to go for these two.

Break My Fall is an angsty read that I was unable to put down. I can't wait to read more of Kyle and Lee's story and see if they get the HEA that the deserve. If you're looking for a hot, angsty read, definitely one click your copy of Break My Fall today!
